About the Hackathon
Nurturing India's Next-Gen Problem Solvers
What is Smart India Hackathon?
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.
Students get to address digital and hardware challenges posed by various Central & State Ministries, Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and private organizations.
